The Swedish-Palestinian/Iraqi musician achieved viral succes with her previous single ‘Yemanya (p.19), donating the song’s proceeds to those affected in Gaza. Now, she is ready to give us another slice of lush music with new single ‘North Sea Siren (p. 78)’ Both songs are taken from her upcoming EP ‘The Sunrise Cried’, out later this year.

On her new single, Salty Licorice blends fiction and personal reflection into a dreamy soundscape, singing about feeling irrelevant, desire for change and the longing for a place to call home.
