Austrian-born, Berlin-based artist UCHE YARA is back with her new single ‘DIVA CLUB‘, following on from ‘hello hello’ and the title track, ahead of her debut album BODYSCANNER, arriving September 25 via goldendays FM.

‘DIVA CLUB’ is euphoric, campy and completely irresistible — inspired by roller derby and built around a sense of collective confidence and joy. I’ve loved her ever since the debut single and she’s a stellar performer as well — I’m extremely excited for the album and she is definitely such a promising new talent and an artist to watch.

Speaking about the track, UCHE shares:

“It started as a playful, tongue-in-cheek character piece, full of exaggeration and camp energy. But after performing the song live, I realised that its lighthearted goofiness transforms into something genuinely empowering. It’s about saying: yes, we can do this, yes we can be loud, proud, and fully ourselves.”
