Swedish-Norwegian artist Ane Brun is back with her new single ‘Hold Me‘, featuring Norwegian musician and producer ARY, and alongside the announcement of her forthcoming album ‘I Thought We Were The Same‘ — her first album of completely new material in six years.

‘Hold Me’ explores that almost primal longing for closeness and the ability to find comfort within yourself when no one else is there to offer it. It’s a beautifully understated and deeply moving piece of songwriting that only Ane Brun could deliver in quite this way. I can never get enough of her gorgeous vocals and this song cements her once again as one of the absolute greats.
