London-based indie pop artist Malaika is back with her new single ‘The Problem‘, following the release of her debut EP Dye My Hair Dark In The Summer.

She is one of my favourite new discoveries and such a rising talent — I’m so excited she’s back so quickly and the new single continues the brilliant soundscape she crafted on the EP while hinting at an exciting new direction.

‘The Problem‘ captures the strange reality of trying to be young, carefree and present while the world feels like it’s crumbling around you — paired with bright, vibrant indie and synth-pop production that makes it impossible not to love. I once again adore everything about it.
