German trio SPARKLING share a new taster of their forthcoming album ‘We Are Here To Make You Feel’ with new single ‘I Love You So’. The new track is accompanied by a dreamy music video directed by Nikolai Meierjohann and shot in the city of love, Paris. SPARKLING’s highly anticipated record arrives October 27th via Moshi Moshi and will also feature the previous singles ‘I Get Sad So Easily’, ‘Hey Hey Hey‘ and ‘We Are Here To Make You Feel‘.
New single ‘I Love You So’ starts with a bunch of “I Love You’s” in different languages from their friends before swiftly launching into the band’s signature, high-energy chorus. Once again, they deliver an anthem meant to be belted out at the top of your lungs, a surefire hit at their upcoming concerts. SPARKLING is undoubtedly becoming one of our top favorite bands, and our anticipation for the full album release is growing by the day!
About the new single and music video the band share:
“We shot this video on a hot autumn day in Paris, the city of love. It just felt like the right – and only – place for this love song. We collected love letters from friends in all kinds of languages and placed them in the streets, mirroring the samples in the beginning of the song.”
“With this song, we wanted to capture the feeling of falling in love. The rush you get when you are with that person and you just can’t play it cool anymore. For the intro of the song, we asked our friends to send us voice memos saying ‘I love you’ in their mother tongue. It was very funny – suddenly we had our inboxes full of people saying ‘I love you’ in different languages.”
‘I Love You So‘ is out now on all platforms. The album ‘We Are Here To Make You Feel’ is set for a release October 27th via Moshi Moshi.
