London trio Night Tapes kick off 2025 with their brand new single ‘Television’, out now via Nettwerk. Fresh from their US tour with L’impératrice and well-deserved winners of the Music Moves Europe Award.

‘Television’ is a floating, dreamy song that blends vintage electronica with Night Tapes’ signature falsetto vocals and an irresistible, cinematic dream-pop hook. The new single explores themes of modern existence, digital detachment, and the search for something deeper. Night Tapes are solidifying their place as one of the most exciting new acts, building on their ever-growing universe with this dreamy new release.

About the new single they mention:

“I was sitting in the park , looking into a portal in my hands and worrying about the world. When I looked up I could see that there were lots of people in the park who, like me,  had come to enjoy the park. Everywhere I looked – they were in the portals in their hands. Some were diving head first, some kept good posture  & I thought to myself that at least singing with good technique requires good posture so hopefully when I’m 80, my body would still be somewhat straight up when I’m going somewhere. I also thought that this is not how parks are meant to work. So I wrote down the first sentence of this song into the useful portal in my hands to use it later.”

‘Television’ is out now on all platforms via Nettwerk.
