Multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer and composer Lyhre is back with a brand new single titled “Daddy is d(e)ad”. The talented rising artist first impressed us back in 2020 with her debut EP “sad syborg” which included the stunning single “gently brutal“.

On her new single “Daddy is d(e)ad” Lyhre showcases her background in classical piano and mixes it perfectly with some dark electronic sounds. The soundscape slowly builds up to higher grounds, effortlesly backing the classical piano with hard-hitting techno beats. Lyhre shows that music doesn’t need any boundaries and creates a perfect slice of alternative pop music. She turns ‘Daddy’s girl’ into a euphemism to create a critical perspective on power and to rethink the positions from which we experience and (re)produce but all wrapped up into one hell of a banger.
