Let us introduce you to King Sweeties and their debut single “Let’s Just Stay in Bed“! This new collaborative project consists of Bic Runga (drums and production) and Cass Basil (Tiny Ruins) on vocals and bass. It’s the New Zealand duo’s first single taken from their forthcoming “We Are The Bosses” EP.

You’ll be pulled into “Let’s Just Stay In Bed” instantly from its first few seconds. That infectious funky bass line and those groovy 70s sounding synths will make you get up and dance! The debut single of King Sweeties is quite a short one, only clocking in at 2:17 minutes. Nevertheless they managed to create a lasting impression on us. We’ll be having this on repeat all day and can’t wait to hear more! If you’re into the sounds of Born At Midnite or Little Dragon you will absolutely love this!
