Singer-songwriter Kate Nash has returned with brand new music after almost two years since her last single “Bad Lieutenant“. She’s sharing her new single “Misery” together with some great DIY – like visuals.
On her new single “Misery”, Kate Nash is switching things up sonically and creating one hell of an infectious track with a bittersweet undertone. The new track was born during last year’s lockdown and about the track Kate says: “I definitely went through depression. For the most part of the year, I just didn’t have the energy and I was kind of lethargic and very lackluster. Rather than fighting that, I leaned into it. It’s about the trauma: the trauma of everything changing.” Something we all can relate to in some way. We are absolutely loving this new direction and can’t wait to hear what else Kate Nash has in store for us.
“Misery” is out now on all platforms via Girl Gang Records.
