Australian trio Haiku Hands have shared their new single ‘Cool For You’ as the latest preview of their anticipated upcoming album ‘Pleasure Beast’. It follows the previously shared tracks ‘Feels So Good’, ‘Ma Ruler’, and ‘Nunchucka’.
The alternative pop trio consisting of Claire Nakazawa, Beatrice Lewis, and Mie Nakazawa are completely new to our ears and we are quite literally blown away by their explosive new single ‘Cool For You’. The track is ready made for the clubs thanks to the banging production from Motez (Flume, Disclosure) and is extremely catchy thanks to the girls’ shouting vocals. It’s reminiscent of some old-school The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy mixed with M.I.A. and we are in love! Be sure to give the music video direct by Jasmin Tarasin a watch below as well.
About the new single Bea Lewis says:
“This song is about feeling yourself, being at a party and enjoying being yourself. Being with your crew and feeling everybody, it’s the antithesis of capitalism – that you need to be something else, that you need another product to feel good, that you need anything.”
‘Cool For You’ is out now on all platforms. ‘Pleasure Beast‘ arrives December 1st via Spinning Top Records.
