French artist Pomme has shared her new single ‘seule dans la foule‘, alongside the announcement of her new album ‘la forteresse‘, due November 20th.

‘seule dans la foule’ explores the tension between belonging and the desire to carve out your own path beyond societal expectations. The song is deeply personal and beautifully delivered. The first ideas for the song were born in Aaron Dessner’s studio, before Pomme decided to produce the entire album herself, and that sense of creative freedom and independence runs right through every second of it. I love the subtle electronics in the production, it’s super haunting and that chorus is just absolutely gorgeous. I can’t get enough of it.

Such an exciting artist and I’m really loving this direction. I can’t wait to hear more from the album.
