Sorry Girls, consisting of Heather Foster Kirkpatrick and Dylan Konrad Obront, are back with a brand new single and accompanying music video titled “Breathe”. It’s the duo’s first new release since their brilliant debut album “Deborah”.
Back in 2019 we instantly fell in love with the lush and dreamy soundscape of Sorry Girls and their debut album is still on heavy rotation. “Deborah” sounds like a classic and we’re so happy that after a 3 years they are ready to make their return. On their new single “Breathe”, Sorry Girls picks right up where they left off. They once again deliver a stunning laidback and incredibly soothing single. We’ve totally missed Heather’s lush vocals against those nostalgic pop productions. “Breathe” is the first taste of a new record coming out next year and we can’t wait! About the new single the band says:
“That song is about the feeling of freedom and getting to know yourself on a deeper level, it’s about releasing limiting beliefs and how those chase you for your whole life before you can move onto a new path.”
“Breathe” is out now on all platforms via Arbutus Records.
