Kevin Lee Kharas and Patrick King aka Real Lies return today with a brand new single called “Since I“. The new single follows “Late Arcades” and is taken from the London duo’s upcoming second album “Lad Ash“. Together with the single release Real Lies also share some great visuals by Grant Armour.
We truly love everything Real Lies does and their new single “Since I” is not exception. While the duo is known for their late night jams and blissful electric sound, new single “Since I” sees the duo head into a slightly new direction. Kev Lee Kharas’ smooth vocal delivery is still there but intertwined with some haunting vocals against a banging production. This might be one of our favourite things Real Lies has done so far and we are loving the vibe of this one. Fingers crossed that “Lad Ash” will be out sometime soon! Everything Real Lies has shared over the past year has been absolutely brilliant and we can’t wait to hear it in full on their new record.
About the new single Real Lies says:
“It’s about late-night people living in a world that doesn’t want them. It’s about ecstatic taxi rides, drawn curtains, Bluetooth speakers and the sudden pull of strangers. It’s about burying yourself in words and warm bodies in an endless search for the right ones.”
“Since I” is out now on all platforms and be sure to give the music video a watch now below.
