A few weeks ago Mint Julep returned with their stunning new single “Black Maps” and an album announcement. Now, the husband and wife duo is sharing a second taster with the atmospheric track “A Rising Sun“. Both tracks are from the duo’s new album “In A Deep & Dreamless Sleep” out next month.

For the new record Mint Julep takes a different approach to their music. Less verse/chorus based and more a ambient atmospheres adding texture gradually. “A Rising Sun” follows the same path and offers us a beautiful glimpse into the hazy and dreamy soundscape of Mint Julep. “A Rising Sun” is perfect to listen with your headphones and get completely lost in all the instrumental layers. We have the feeling Mint Julep is delivering their best work yet and we can’t wait to experience the full body of work.
