One of our highly anticipated albums of this year is definitely Catharina Jaunviksna aka Badlands new album. Today, “Djinn” is finally out there for everyone to hear and we are extremely excited! Together with the album release Badlands also unveils a music video for the closing track “Let Go”. 

Badland’s new album “Djinn” is a memorial to her late mother who passed away under unclear circumstances. Every track on the record focusses on the art of letting go in different ways. For her new music video and the album’s closing track “Let Go”, Badlands used authentic 16mm film footage from her mom’s growing up in Sweden. The beautiful video perfectly shows how temporary everything is in life. We strongly suggest everyone to take a good listen to Badland’s new album. It’s such a stunning piece of work and deserves to be heard by many.
