Canadian artist Katie Stelmanis aka Austra is finally back! It marks the Toronto-based artist’s first release since the brilliant “Future Politics” LP in 2017. Austra’s best album to date in our opinion, giving us one of our favourite tracks ever: “I Love You More Than You Love Yourself“.

To be honest, we got a tiny bit scared when we first heard the start of “Risk It“. The song starts with extremely high pitched, altered vocals, but luckily Katie’s real vocals enter quickly over pulsating beats. It actually all makes more sense while listening to the track in full. The high pitched ‘risk it‘, is actually extremely catchy and will probably very soon also be stuck in your head. “Risk It” is a slight change in sound, but still keeping it very much Austra because of the heavy synths and Katie’s distinctive vocals. Creating once again a brilliant electro-pop tune!
