It’s so nice to see Christine and the Queens back with something this upbeat and uplifting! ‘Rendez-vous Avec Toi’ is a glistening, disco-infused pop track that celebrates love, desire and finding connection on the dancefloor.

After the darker and more introspective sound of the brilliant ‘Paranoïa, Angels, True Love’ (still one of my favourite albums), this feels like a really refreshing change of direction. I absolutely loved that record, but it’s great to hear Chris embracing a more joyful and danceable sound again.

The accompanying music video captures that feeling perfectly, with Chris dancing through the streets of Paris, bringing plenty of energy and movement to the screen. The choreography and visuals make it such a joy to watch, and I love how everything comes together with the uplifting spirit of the song. A lovely new chapter from an artist who never stops keeping things interesting!

‘Rendez-vous Avec Toi’ is out now, alongside an English version titled ‘Rendez-vous In Your Arms’. Check out the beautiful video below!
