I’m always excited to discover new acts with a strong identity, and Icelandic duo SCAM are definitely ones to keep an eye on. Consisting of artists and producers Herdís Stefánsdóttir and Salka Valsdóttir, the duo return with their third single ‘Pleasure’, featuring Icelandic pop star BRÍET.

I really love how the song starts off like a pop track before gradually building into something much more electronic, with an absolutely massive and explosive ending. There’s a great sense of anticipation throughout, and the production keeps drawing you further into its world.

SCAM are also building a really exciting visual identity, and the music video for ‘Pleasure’ is a great example of that. The visual world-building is just as interesting as the music itself. Definitely an exciting and promising new act to keep on your radar!
