Gothenburg-based Salty Licorice continues to enchant us with every release and her new single ‘Vincent’s Wife (p.113)’ is no exception. Following the stunning ‘North Sea Siren (p.78)‘ and ‘Amare (p.87)’, this is the final taste before her upcoming debut EP ‘The Sunrise Cried’ is released.

‘Vincent’s Wife (p.113)’ is a dreamy indie-pop odyssey. It’s cinematic, emotional and fearless. It begins with soft, romantic guitars and gradually evolves into a darker, hyper-pop-tinged climax. The song explores the moment of realisation that you’ve built a life around someone that no longer fits, and the difficult yet empowering choice to break free.
