Manchester’s DellaXOZ has announced her brand new EP ‘DELLAIRIUM’ alongisde a brand new single and music video, ‘come again’. The song is the second release of the new EP, following last year’s ‘BORING’.
DellaXOZ has slowly been making a name for herself, impressing audiences with a series of standout tracks as an upcoming musician. On her forthcoming EP she is for the first time collaborating and working in a studio, resulting in an elevated sound. ‘come again’ is another look inside the wonderful soundscape of DellaXOZ, offering glitchy alt-pop with some hard-hitting indie rock. We can’t get enough of it! About the new single and music video, directed by Joe Horridge, she says:
“A lot of my Gen Z fans on TikTok refer to ‘come again’ as ‘The delulu song’, as it describes the relatable experience of falling for the worst person for you and convincing yourself it’s a good idea. It’s just pure teenage girl delusion. With the video for come again we wanted to create a real cliché coming of age feel which allowed us to build a really fun world of sets for Della to perform in. From recreating a high school prom, to a nod towards the classic ‘It’s October 3rd’ scene from Mean Girls, creating this video with the very talented Harry Blackley and being able to collaborate with such an exciting artist as Della has been really exciting.”
‘come again‘ is out now on all platforms. ‘DELLAIRIUM‘ EP arrives March 22nd via Communion.
