British art-pop quartet Dutch Uncles have shared ‘In Salvia’, the final taste of their highly anticipated new album ‘True Entertainment’, out next week. The new album is the band’s first release since 2017’s ‘Big Balloon’. Previously, Dutch Uncles already shared the record’s title track ‘True Entertainment’, ‘Poppin’, and ‘Tropigala (2 to 5)’ as singles.
On their new single ‘In Salvia’, Dutch Uncles create a delicious song filled with flutes, arpeggiators horns and guitars. It all comes together with frontman Duncan Walli’s beautiful and melodic vocals with a little help of Metronomy’s Anna Prior. This is one hell of an infectious track and we can’t get enough of it!
About the new single Duncan Wallis says:
“A reference to the flower of the same name’s symbolism of wisdom, longevity, good health and innocence, is a rather stark narrative detailing when the qualities listed above have nothing to contribute to the realities in front of you. Partly inspired by a not insignificant number of years propping up bars and asking the wrong questions, its only seeming redemption being an acknowledgement of what the end actually looks like.”
Dutch Uncle’s new album ‘True Entertainment’ arrives on March 10 via Memphis Industries.
