London four-piece band ISLAND are back with a brand new single and accompanying music video. The band’s new single “Octopus” follows their 2019 EP “When We’re Still” and 2018 debut album “Feels Like Air“.
For their new single “Octopus” the band is working together with producer Mikko Gordon and sees ISLAND deliver one of their best tracks yet. The band’s new single is about looking back on rebellious teenage years and how it’s been replaced with new sentiments. Just like an octopus the song plays with the feeling of changing yourself to your surroundings. The song has a strong touch of melancholy thanks to Rollo Doherty’s vocals but at the same time also feels hopeful thanks to the uplifting production. “Octopus” definitely has some strong island vibes and is perfect to warm yourself with during these cold winter days. It’s a true indie pop jam and we can’t wait to hear what ISLAND delivers next!
“Octopus” is out now on all platforms via Frenchkiss Records.
