After sharing her incredible last album “Music For People In Trouble“, Norwegian artist Susanne Sundfør will release the score for the new Norwegian documentary Self Portrait. She just released the absolutely stunning first single “When The Lord” from the Soundtrack that will be out later this week.

Self Portrait is a documentary about Norwegian artist and photographer Lene Marie Fossen, who sadly passed away last month. The artist spent years documenting and making art about her struggles with anorexia. Susanne Sundfør was incredibly touched by Lene’s story and art and created a whole soundtrack for the upcoming movie.

“When The Lord” is one of the most beautiful songs we’ve heard in a long time. Sundførs gorgeous vocals mixed with the striking images of Lene Marie Fossen are just incredibly moving. There’s nothing left to do than just be quiet and let it all sink in.

The Self Portrait soundtrack is out this Friday (10 January) via Bella Union. The Self Portrait movie is out 17 January. Listen now below and take a look at the trailer.
