Manchester-born, Berlin-based artist and producer Sable has shared her new single ‘Pop Star‘, the second single from her upcoming self-produced debut album, following on from ‘Björk‘.

This is such a beautiful song and I love how it progresses and slowly lets go of everything near the end. Introspective, cinematic and soaring all at once. Crafted in her Berlin home studio during a period of unemployment and intense heartbreak, the track features additional lapsteel guitar from collaborator and friend Faith Plates, which adds another layer to its quietly powerful atmosphere.

Sable is really an exciting artist to keep an eye on and I’m very much looking forward to hearing the debut album in full.
