Nilüfer Yanya has returned with her new single ‘Like I Say (I runaway)’, her first new music since 2022’s brilliant album ‘PAINLESS’. Together with the new single she also shares a music video directed by her sister Molly Daniel.

On her new single Nilüfer Yanya continues the sound she crafts so well and delivers once more an brilliant piece of alternative pop-rock. The new song is written in collaboration with her creative partner Wilm Archer and is a strong nod to 90s alternative music. Yanya’s vocals shine like always and once those fuzyy guitars kick in during the chorus it’s just pure bliss.

About the new single she says:

“It’s about how you choose to spend your time. Time is like a currency, every moment. You’re never going to get it back. It’s quite an overwhelming thing to realize.”
