West London band Lip Filler is gearing up for the release of their self-titled debut EP, set to drop May 4th via Chess Club Records. The band consisting of vocalist and keys player George, guitarists Jude and Verity, bassist Theo, and drummer Nate. Together with the EP announcement the band also shares a brand new single ‘Monster Truck’.

We instantly fell in love with Lip Filler back in February while hearing their single ‘Haircut’ and new single ‘Monster Truck’ is another banger. It’s definitely a monster track and a perfect song to showcase the band’s brilliant sound. It’s a great mixture of 90s grunge and noughties indie-pop and we can’t get enough! About the new single they say:

“‘Monster Truck’ is the first song we wrote that tells a story from the perspective of a character. It’s a take on American high school culture we derived from films like Napoleon Dynamite. The song’s written from the perspective of an awkward high school teen who has a crush on their next-door neighbour.”

‘Monster Truck’ is out now on all platforms. Lip Filler’s debut EP arrives May 4th via Chess Club Records.
