Electronic duo Darkstar is getting ready to release their highly anticipated new album “Civic Jams” this Friday 19 June. Ahead of its release Aidan Whalley and James Young deliver one final track before the album drops. New single “Text” follows the duo’s previous singles “Wolf” and “Jam“.

New single “Text” sees Darkstar slow things down a bit. Yet still maintaining that typical Darkstar soundscape we adore.The duo is using mesmerizing vocal snippets that tell the story of losing a lost one. It’s probably their most touching song yet and we are stunned by its beauty. If the record is going to be anything like these three singles, we’re in for a treat. We have the feeling we’re looking at a strong contender for best electronic album of the year!
