US newcomer Jill Blutt has shared the focus track ‘Swansea’, the standout moment from her debut EP ‘An Almond-Shaped Moon and Four Things I Wish I Never Knew About Myself‘. Alongside earlier singles ‘Nice2MeetU’, ‘Salt’, and ‘When I Grace Yr Mantelpiece’, the EP also features one more new track, ‘Normal’.
‘Swansea’ is a powerful, slow-burning cut that knows exactly how to hit you. Blutt’s vocal delivery is beautifully emotive, rising over a gorgeous build that eventually breaks open into unexpected touches of breakbeat. The powerful and hard-hitting end is just amazing!
The full EP is a stunning introduction to an exciting new artist and I can’t wait to hear what she does next.
‘An Almond-Shaped Moon and Four Things I Wish I Never Knew About Myself‘ is out now on all platforms.
