Los Angeles artist Andrew Aged (one half of inc. / inc.no) surprises with his debut solo EP ‘Crown’, a three-track release that explores dreamy and nostalgic alt-pop landscapes.

I’ve always loved his work with his brother, especially their underrated classic with FKA twigs and I’m so happy Andrew has blessed us with more new music. The EP opens with ‘Banner‘, which is co-produced with Mk.gee and you can immediately feel their chemistry on the exciting opener. However, for me it’s the second and third track where Andrew Aged really gets me. I’m loving this dreamy, hazy soundscape and my favourite, ‘The Road’ sounds like a forgotten classic from the 90s.

The production across the whole EP is just gorgeous and it’s alternative pop at its finest. I can’t wait to hear what else he has in store for us.

crown‘ is out now on all platforms via Two First Names Recordings.
