Pool Girl is back with her new single ‘Frannie You’ll Be Alright‘, and I’m really loving everything she has been releasing this year. It’s a beautifully intimate and quietly empowering ode to female friendship, built around shimmering synths, surfy guitars and that dreamy hazy world she has been crafting so consistently across her recent work.

Also super exciting that she will be joining Sports on their UK and EU tour this October. I’m a big fan of Sports as well and her audience is about to grow a lot bigger, which she absolutely deserves.

My best friend Frannie and I have spent years trying to make our dreams work (mine in music and hers in fashion) – our two biggest motivators have been each other and not wanting to work in an office. Without her support and pep talks, I wouldn’t be where I am today. The song is really a symbol of female friendship, entrepreneurship, grit, and not giving up on our dreams,”
