London-based artist ultra caro has just announced her upcoming mixtape ‘moonlight diaries‘, out November 21, and shared her dreamy new single ‘nightingale’.

The lush, atmospheric track drifts somewhere between melancholic pop and nocturnal fantasy and it’s easily one of my favorites from her so far. The pitched-down vocals give it a completely different feel, adding depth to its hazy, moonlit mood.

The new project will also include previous singles ‘ride or die’ and ‘counting sheep’, and even features Hannah Diamond, which has me extra excited. As caro described on Instagram, the mixtape carries “very nocturnal, melancholic, watery energy… i’ve always been obsessed by the moon, i talk to her a lot when i’m not sure where to go. she mirrors her soft light for the dreamers who like to wander in the dark in search of hidden answers.”

Based on what I’ve heard so far, moonlight diaries sounds like the perfect dreamy soundtrack for late nights.
