Following recent singles ‘many lives’, ‘part ii’ and ‘place of my own’, Purity Ring return with yet another gem in the form of ‘imanocean’.

The new track slightly shifts their sound once more, weaving in touches of acoustic guitar and early-2000s nostalgia, but it still feels so unmistakeably theirs. Like always, it’s drenched in that spectral, floating magic only Purity Ring can create.

With their long-awaited self-titled album arriving next month, our excitement is sky-high. Some of the songs unveiled so far are already among our all-time favorite Purity Ring tracks, and ‘imanocean’ only raises the anticipation further.

It’s rare we get new music from the Canadian duo, but when we do, it’s always worth the wait!
