Last month we got introduced to Lasse Matthiessen and his stunning single “Emotional” together with the announcement of his new album “Dreams Don’t Make Noise“. The Danish born, Berlin based musician is now giving us another taste of the upcoming record with his new single “Ocean“.

Lasse Matthiessen really knows how to create a beautiful and mesmerizing soundscape and just like the title suggests, the song really pulls you under like the ocean. The talented musician’s brooding vocals glide against a thrilling dark synth production that is melancholic and at the same time extremely infectious. We are loving both tracks we’ve heard of Lasse so far and can’t wait to hear the full record in full! About the new single he says:

”Ocean is an electronic love poem about Berlin when the sun sets and the city dives into the ‘concrete ocean’ of houses in the twilight. It is a declaration of love to the woman who might still be on the other side of the concrete ocean.”
