British indiepop band Glass Animals is ready for summer with their infectious new single “Heat Waves“. The new track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album “Dreamland” and follows previous singles “Tokyo Drifting“, “Your Love (Déjà Vu)” and title-track “Dreamland“.
Glass Animals have done it once again, we are absolutely loving this new single. Dave Bayley shares his regret of a long-lost romance in the melancholic, yet up-beat “Heat Waves“. Once again we are treated to the singer’s unique and dreamy vocals backed by mesmerizing guitars and bass. This is probably one of our favourites of the new record so far and we can’t wait to hear more! It’s giving us strong nostalgic feelings to some of our favourites from the 90s! Be sure to give the accompanying video a watch below. Shot during lockdown in Dave’s neighbourhood and filmed by his neighbours.
Glass Animals‘ new album “Dreamland” is postponed until August 7th in order to respect and support the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement.
