London-based artist Valentina makes a very welcome and unexpected return with her brand new single “You Know Where My Happiness Went“. You might remember the singer from her incredible collaboration with Joe Goddard on “Gabriel“. Which is still to this day a song we absolutely adore. After Valentina’s debut EP “Wolves” dropped in 2013, it’s been a bit quiet from her side. Luckily, 7 years later Valentina is back and better than ever!

Inspiration behind new single “You Know Where My Happiness Went” is Valentina’s break-up after a 5 year long relationship. While the Italian-born artist was searching for a place to live and without a microphone. She decided to record the lyrics to the song in one take into her laptop. Creating an intriguing minimal and lo-fi electronic production backed by Valentina’s ghostly vocals. New single “You Know Where My Happiness Went” shows a new side to Valentina and we are loving it! This has left us wanting more and hopefully we will this year!
