Yaeji has shared the first single from her debut album ‘With A Hammer’, set for a release later this year on XL Recordings. Together with the album announcement the talented musician also released a self-directed music video for the first single ‘For Granted’.

Yaeji has been sharing music for a long time, including many singles, a few EPs and in 2020 a full length mixtape ‘WHAT WE DREW 우리가 그려왔던.’ So her long-awaited debut album is finally coming and if the first single’s anything to go by we are in for a treat. ‘For Granted’ sees Yaeji soothing vocals against a subtle but infectious electronic production until the track reaches its energetic climax with a drum and bass instrumental. She keeps on delivering with every release and effortlesly blends pop melodies with interesting electronic productions, maintaining a high standard of quality with every release. We can’t wait to hear more from the debut.
