Producer TSHA has another new single out from her upcoming record and once more invites one of our favourites to tag along. On her new single ‘Can’t Dance’ she collaborates with Master Peace to deliver a nostalgic banger. TSHA’s sophomore album ‘ Sad Girl’ will be out September 27th and also features the previously shared ‘Girls‘ featuring Rose Gray and ‘Sweet Devotion’ with Caroline Byrne.
New single ‘Can’t Dance’ writen with Raleigh Ritchie aka Jacob Anderson and is a highly infectious and nostalgic alternative pop banger that transports us straight back to the early 00s. TSHA is truly delivering some of the best pop music out there right now and all these songs deserve to top the charts. We’re extremely excited for the full record but until then, enjoy the released tracks so far below.
About the new track TSHA says:
“I love the lyrics, because it reminds me of school discos. The girl, the boy, wanting to dance. People trying to look too cool, and not wanting to dance, or people wanting to dance – or there’s always that one person that’s dancing crazy, they’re all over the place, and everyone’s laughing.
Jacob Anderson loved the song, but was like, I wrote those lyrics when I was 19, it doesn’t feel like me anymore. So I was trying to think who else would work for the vocal, who could deliver that cheeky, British, fun vibe. I was looking through Master Peace’s stuff and I was like, I’m obsessed. This guy’s sick. I loved his attitude.”
‘Can’t Dance’ is out now on all platforms. ‘Sad girl‘ arrives September 27th via Ninja Tune.
