After making a big impression with their debut album ‘Time Is A Flower’ last year, Australian trio Telenova return swiftly with a brand-new EP, ‘BITCRUSH’. We’re beyond happy to have them back so soon, and the three new tracks once again show the band at their absolute best.
The EP features ‘BITCRUSH’, ‘MOUNTAIN LION // ADORE’, and ‘PARALYSIS GHOSTS’ — each arriving with its own separate visualiser. Rather than full-blown music videos, the band envisioned a series of three “microfilms” that capture the same unease, uncertainty and anxiety from which the songs were born. Directed by Jordan Ruyi Blanch, these miniature films weave together elements of the songs with sound design and striking visuals, creating an abstract yet powerful extension of the music.
With ‘BITCRUSH’, Telenova continue to prove they’re masters at crafting immersive, cinematic soundscapes that balance intimacy with drama. It’s another chapter in their ever-evolving story, and one that fans of their debut will absolutely want to dive into.
‘BITCRUSH‘ is out now on all platforms.
