British-Iranian artist TĀLĀ is back with ‘I Need It‘, the third single from her highly anticipated upcoming album. I can still remember hearing her debut EP ‘The Duchess‘ and the impact it had on me — and ‘Alchemy‘ remains one of my all-time favourites. So happy she seems to be fully back and releasing brilliant music.

‘I Need It’ is emotionally charged and direct, blending her Iranian influences with UK underground R&B and electronic production. The track is about breaking through self-doubt and stepping into your own power and you can feel every bit of that energy in the listen.

Speaking about the single, TĀLĀ shares: “For me, songs are like sculptures, refining and shaping and sometimes you have to step away for a while to really have the right perspective to finish it. Ultimately, I just want people to enjoy listening to the track. Whether you’re getting ready for a big game, a business meeting, I want it to be the hype you need to empower yourself!”
