Let us introduce you to soft centre, the electronic side project of UK artist Jodie Nicholson. Her latest single is titled ‘Mazes’ and is a collaboration with producers TIBASKO.

The new project is a space for collaboration and creative exploration and sees Jodie lean fully into a more dance-oriented sound on ‘Mazes. The result is a lush, ascending track that perfectly blends dreamy electronica with her signature ethereal vocals.

We’re loving this new collaboration and it’s great to hear Jodie on something hypnotic like this, her voice fits the atmospheric production like a glove. The song feels cinematic and like stepping into another world. About the new song she mentions:

“The first time I heard the instrumental Ken and Andy had created, I knew I needed to write something for it. I’m a gamer in my spare time and, to me, this track has always felt like you’re in the middle of an epic, utopian, open world-type game, so that formed the basis for the lyrical content. The thing I love about soft centre as a project is you never know what you’re going to work on next, every collaboration is an opportunity to explore another artist/producer’s avenue of electronica, and I’m a huge TIBASKO fan, so this is a dream collaboration for me. I hope people love the track as much as I do.”
