Spanish artist Sofia is gearing up for the release of her debut album ‘Las mareas‘ in September via Humo Internacional. Following her previous albums ‘Canciones para saltarse por encima‘ and ‘Primeras grabaciones‘, she now shares the first single ‘La Gravedad’, co-produced and mixed by herself with additional work from Willy of Somos La Herencia.

‘La Gravedad’ blends a touch of retro and disco pop with Sofia’s cool, understated vocals, creating a nostalgic soundscape that feels both familiar and fresh. Production and sound-wise it somehow reminds of uf Spanish popstar Tamara, or maybe that’s just because we recently watched the Spanish series Superestar. However, we’re loving the shimmering and slightly melancholic groove on this one and can’t wait to hear more.
