I came across Australian artist Sidney for the first time and immediately fell for her vocals and the world she’s building. She has just released her new single ‘sliding doors’ which is a beautiful alternative pop track.

It’s taken from her upcoming EP ‘what if it ends‘, out in February 2026. The new single is inspired by the film Sliding Doors and looks at a relationship and the two different futures it could lead to. Wether that’s staying together, or finally walking away. Sidney captures that moment of uncertainty just beautifully thanks to her vocals and lyrics.

Sidney’s new single is a really strong introduction for me and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the upcoming EP!
