London-based singer-songwriter Ray Laurél has just announced their highly anticipated new EP, ‘Honey, Undress Me’ along with its lead single ‘RIDE’. This marks Ray’s first release of the year, following last year’s mesmerizing track, ‘MY LUV’.
In ‘RIDE’, Ray Laurél explores the thrill and intensity of falling in love, set against a vibrant and dynamic production. The track is a captivating blend of funk and brooding sensuality, perfectly capturing Ray’s unique talent for crafting innovative alternative pop.
The accompanying music video, directed by Guy Gooch beautifully complements the track’s moody yet alluring vibe perfectly. Ray Laurél continues to prove themselves as an exciting and talented newcomer and we can’t wait to hear what’s next!
About the new single and EP Ray mentions:
“RIDE is about the chase. The adrenaline you feel when you’re in the early spring of romance. I’ve been working with the spirit of the wolf a lot recently, and it’s unique connection to the moon. It was a fun way to show the primal element that comes with falling in love. This EP is an offering to romance & desire. I’m showing my heart and getting lost in doing so. I wanted to create something that felt intense & intimate at the same time.”
‘RIDE‘ is out now on all platforms. ‘Honey, Undress ME’ EP arrives November 8th via Two First Names/ Polydor Records.
