24-year-old NESYA has shared her new single ‘PUT THE FRIES IN THE BAG’. It’s my first introduction to her and I’m already loving the sound she’s going for. Such a fun and distinctive track, and I love how it progresses throughout.

Taking divorce, betrayal and emotional freefall and reshaping it into something absurd and hypnotic, the track blends post-punk, alt-pop and hyperwave textures into controlled chaos. It’s a delicious moody electronic banger and I can’t get enough of it.

Speaking about the single, NESYA shares:

“I wrote the song in the middle of a messy divorce. The song turned that chaos into something fun. It’s proof that the ‘dumbest’ idea can be the thing that makes you want to dance again… or just eat some fries.”
