We’re loving Naomi Scott’s recent musical output, her previous single ‘Rhythm’ mesmerized us instantly and now she’s back with the stripped-back alt-pop ballad ‘Cut Me Loose’. Produced by Lido with additional touches from Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange) and Jack Dines, the track dives into the emotional push-and-pull of a relationship on the verge of ending.

It was actually through Blood Orange’s latest music that we first discovered Naomi, and we’re so glad we did. We adore her sound. It’s a perfect blend of heartfelt lyrics, raw emotion, and lush, atmospheric production. ‘Cut Me Loose’ is proof she’s found a sonic space that’s truly her own.

If this is just the start, we can only hope an album is on the way soon. Naomi Scott’s music feels incredibly promising, and we’re already eager to hear what’s next.
