Copenhagen-based alt-pop duo miaw kick off the new year with their new single ‘moving in’, marking their first new release since last year’s brilliant EP ‘My Petswan’. Written between bedrooms in Berlin and Copenhagen, the track feels like a natural evolution of the world they’ve already started to build.

The new song reflects on constant movement, new beginnings and leaving familiar places behind and leans into miaw’s signature sound, combining fragmented vocals, unusual electronic textures and shoegaze-leaning guitars. The track carries a soft sense of melancholy, but there’s also something exciting running through it, especially in the chorus where the production really opens up. It’s a strong introduction to this new chapter for miaw, and I’m very curious to hear where they take things next!
