Norwegian alt-pop artist Markella has released her debut album ‘Metamorphosis‘, alongside the title track as the closing single. It’s my first time discovering her and once again Norway is delivering, I just love how that country keeps giving us these amazing female artists.

The album is a real body of work, moving through the many phases, crises and transformations of life. Musically it blends Nordic synth and Greek elements with folkloric melodies and mythological references into something that feels entirely its own. I’m loving the sound, fans of Aurora or Moyka should definitely listen to this!
