Lou Hayter has shared her mesmerizing new single ‘3AM’, offering another glimpse into her upcoming album ‘Unfamiliar Skin’. The highly anticipated record, set to release on October 4th via Greco-Roman, will also feature previous singles ‘In My Heart‘, ‘Stop The Rain’, and ‘Frequency’.

As always, Lou’s cool and understated vocals weave through a lush production, this time drawing inspiration from ’90s crossover house music. ‘3AM’ is a seductive and delicious tune that transports us back to a different era. Lou Hayter continues to push the boundaries of electronic dance music, showcasing her versatile production while maintaining a sound that’s uniquely her own. The anticipation for the full album keeps building and we can’t wait!

About the new song she mentions:

“This song is exactly what it says in the lyrics. I was wide awake at 3am and sang this into my phone, which happens to me a lot in the night.  Then when I made it the next day I felt inspired by things like ‘Too Blind to See It’, produced by Steve Silk Hurley, which was a big tune when I was a kid. These crossover house records have a very special place in my heart as a place and time in my life. I collected house records all through my teens from Masters at Work, Mood 2 Swing etc., so I was thinking of those when I made it”.

‘3AM’ is out now on all platforms. ‘Unfamiliar Skin‘ arrives October 4th via Greco-Roman.
