One of our favourite alternative pop artists Låpsley is back with the announcement of her upcoming EP ‘A Guilty Heart Can Never Rest’, which wil be released May 10th via Believe. Following ‘4AM Ascension Day’, Låpsley shares two impressive new singles ‘Angeles’ and ‘Build A Man’. The eagerly anticipated EP follows last year’s brilliant record ‘Cautionary Tales of Youth’.

On her new double-single Låpsley is showcasing two completely different soundscapes, from electronic banger to cinematic ballad. ‘Angeles’ sees the talented musician go for a modern glitchy electronic sound and heavy distorted vocals. It’s quite different for Låpsley but an absolute banger! On ‘Build A Man’ she’s slowing things down and delivers a heartfelt ballad about the unwillingless to let go. All three singles released so far are showing Låpsley at her most experimental yet and we can’t wait to hear more! You can check the music video directed by Jeanne Buchi for ‘Build a Man’ below.

About ‘Build A Man’ she says:

It’s about a destructive attachment complex, an honest revelation of how some of our worst attributes and emotions are unearthed when witnessing an ex truly moving on. Creating an entanglement of intense bitterness and ego. It’s dramatic, because it is entirely that.”

Angeles’ / ‘Build A Man’ is out now on all platforms. ‘A Guilty Heart Can Never Rest’ arrives May 10th via Believe.
