Los Angeles-based artist Jay Som, the project of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Melina Duterte, has shared ‘Cards On The Table’, the second single from her forthcoming album Belong, out 10th October via Lucky Number. It follows lead single ‘Float’ featuring Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World, with the new track also welcoming Lexi Vega of Mini Trees.

We adore the lush vocals floating over its dreamy synth textures, which slowly build into a gentle, slightly upbeat groove. Both tender and immersive, it captures the bittersweet reality of shifting friendships, wrapping its emotional pull in warm, atmospheric production. We’re highly excited for the upcoming album and can’t wait to hear what’s next!
